Clock Rigidity and Joint Position-Clock Estimation in Ultra-Wideband Sensor Networks

چکیده
Joint position and clock estimation is crucial in many wireless sensor network applications, especially distance-based with time-of-arrival (TOA) measurements. In this work, we study the graph properties under which an ultra-wideband (UWB) localizable synchronizable one round TOA-based timestamp A novel rigidity theory proposed its topological condition proved to have close relationship bearing rigidity. Based on rigidity, a graphical approach for analyzing joint problem investigated. It shown that position-clock framework certain can be uniquely determined up some trivial variations corresponding both parameters. Simulation results are presented demonstrate how exercised estimation.

Probabilistic Clock Synchronization Service in Sensor Networks
Recent advances in technology have made low cost, low power wireless sensors a reality. Clock synchronization is an important service in any distributed system, including sensor network systems. Applications of clock synchronization in sensor networks include data integration in sensors, sensor reading fusion, TDMA medium access scheduling, and power mode energy saving. However, for a number of...
متن کاملCell Timer/Cell Clock
Like the biological clock in the body, replication of each cell type (even different cells of the same organism) follows a timing program. Abnormal function of this timer could be an alarm for a disease like cancer. DNA replication starts from a specific point on the chromosome that is called the origin of replication. In contrast to prokaryotes in which DNA replication starts from a single ...
متن کاملClock offset estimation in wireless sensor networks using robust M-estimation
Clock synchronization plays a crucial role in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Assuming that there is no clock skew between sensor nodes, the Maximum Likelihood Estimate (MLE) of clock offset was derived by [1] for clock synchronization protocols assuming exponential random delays and a two-way message exchange mechanism as in TPSN (Timing-sync Protocol for Sensor Networks [2]) or NTP (Network ...
متن کاملSecure and Self-stabilizing Clock Synchronization in Sensor Networks
In sensor networks, correct clocks have arbitrary starting offsets and nondeterministic fluctuating skews. We consider an adversary that aims at tampering with the clock synchronization by intercepting messages, replaying intercepted messages (after the adversary’s choice of delay), and capturing nodes (i.e., revealing their secret keys and impersonating them). We present the first self-stabili...
